Philosophy
I believe that one of the primary goals of any fitness program should be to improve one’s physical and mental health. Research has shown that a regular physical activity program helps prevent diseases such as cancer and heart disease which are currently the leading causes of death in our country. Staying active also helps us cope with the stresses of work, family and daily life and allows us to be energized and productive throughout our day. I believe that the combination of improved physical and mental health leads to an enhanced quality of life.
I believe that any additional goals are entirely individual which is why one fitness plan does not work for everyone. I believe that scientific research has shown us the requirements necessary to meet our various goals and beyond this the trainer and client must work together to find an attainable, realistic and effective way to meet these goals.
